About the Institute
Ban Ki-moon Institute for Sustainable Development was established as an international academic institution at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), Almaty, Kazakhstan, integrating leading programs: UNAI, MDP, Green Campus, MUN, and others.
Mission
The mission of the Institute is to develop an innovative approach to global partnership for SDG‑17, to promote and implement SDGs through education, research, and global partnership.

BIOGRAPHY
Studied International Economic Relations at Al-Farabi KazNU (1997–2001), completed Master's (2003) and PhD (2014), all with honors. Also holds MBA from EdNET Academy (USAID). Currently Chief Expert at the Institute of Sustainable Development and Associate Professor at Al-Farabi KazNU.
